Our parts department is open Monday through Saturday - the schedule for this position will include Saturday hours.
The Parts Counter Person ensures that customers and technicians have the correct parts to complete vehicle maintenance and repairs. In this position, your responsibilities include selling andretrieving the parts from inventory.

Pay is comprised of a base hourly rate + a variable based on performance
Estimated Hourly Pay Range, including variable pay - $29.10 to $37.65

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Work with the parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
Complete the special order part request for the customer
Communicate with customers on the status of parts
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Parts Counter Person Requirements:
Previous experience in a dealership parts department
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
Travel up and down stairs frequently throughout the day to retrieve parts
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Strong customer service skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance, and a strong work ethic
