Are you a well-rounded Automotive Marketing professional looking to drive growth in a dynamic area? RTI is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced leader to shape how the world perceives our brand and product, driving RTI’s leadership in software-defined vehicles across the automotive market.
You’ll create and execute targeted marketing campaigns to build awareness and preference for RTI software through thought leadership, content generation, product marketing programs, partner initiatives, and more. You will help the company understand market trends and customer requirements, and work to develop messaging, competitive positioning and creative use cases. You’ll combine your deep understanding of product marketing strategy with your creative judgment to grow RTI’s footprint in the evolving automotive market.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary with strong project management skills, solid writing and editing skills; an expert communicator and passionate about the automotive industry. Lead and own the marketing plan development and execution for RTI in Automotive
Contribute to the development of RTI’s Automotive go-to-market strategy, ensuring initiatives and priorities are aligned across the company
Drive the development and execution of RTI’s Automotive market positioning and messaging around Software-defined vehicles (SDVs)
Draft and edit Automotive content including but not limited to: speaking abstracts, collateral, trade show materials, blog posts, articles, presentations, and sales training materials in collaboration with other company stakeholders
Build and execute proactive, multi‑channel demand generation campaigns in support of corporate initiatives and priorities; coordinate campaign execution within the Marketing Department; conduct post‑program analysis to measure campaign success metrics
Collaborate internally with the automotive marketing, solutions and sales teams to serve as a pulse of the industry, contributing themes and thought leadership topics to corporate content and communication channels, such as blog posts, social media posts, contributed articles, etc.
Build relationships with marketing counterparts at select partner organizations; develop and execute partner co‑marketing and sales enablement programs
5+ years of experience in the Automotive industry
Excellent writing and editing abilities
Proven track record of executing results‑oriented Automotive product marketing campaigns
Knowledge of and experience in B2B marketing to software architects/engineers/developer
Excellent communications skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build consensus and lead initiatives across departments and with key stakeholders
Team player with the ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility and influence throughout an organization at all levels and across departments
Highly‑organized, detail‑oriented and proficient at prioritizing and managing multiple projects
Bachelor’s degree in marketing‑related field
Occasional travel required to industry tradeshows, corporate offices and/or customer/partner sites (~8x/year)
A passion for the rapidly‑evolving automotive industry
Experience working across a variety of marketing channels and knowledge of how to effectively leverage these channels (e.g., product marketing, content marketing, social media, public relations, direct marketing, events, etc.)
Desire and skill to speak publicly, promoting RTI to an Automotive audience at industry events, partners meetings, or online webinars.
