We are seeking a Social Media & Creative Content Assistant to join our marketing team in Redwood City, CA. This position supports the Social Media Manager and the Director of Marketing, focusing on executing Gruve's social media strategy and scaling our brand presence across multiple platforms. The role involves creating graphics, editing videos, writing captions, scheduling posts, and supporting campaigns, with a significant focus on coordinating Gruve's new podcast. This is a full‑time opportunity with Gruve and an on‑site role based at our headquarters in Redwood City, California. Key Responsibilities

Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Substack using our content calendar and operating system Write and adapt captions, social copy, and post formats for multiple platforms Design graphics, banners, and carousels using templates and brand guidelines Assist in coordinating and producing Gruve's content series: schedule and coordinate sourcing calls and interviews with Gruve leadership, manage filming/recording logistics, and support editing and distribution workflows Help build and utilize Gruve's Content Engine and operating system, maintaining databases, templates, and workflows Assist in executing product launches, partnerships, and campaign rollouts Support executives and practice leads in producing thought leadership content Work 1–2 days per week at our partner’s office in Menlo Park assisting with social media consulting projects Track performance metrics, compile reports, and support monthly creative audits Required Skills

1–3 years of experience in social media, design, or content creation (internships, freelance, and entrepreneurial work count) Videography and video editing experience encouraged (filming, lighting, sound, post‑production) Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), or similar tools Strong writing ability for captions and professional B2B social copy Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, startup, or agency Podcast production or long‑form video content experience Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn dashboards, Sprout Social) Creative mindset with an eye for design, trends, and social‑first storytelling Salary Range
