Our US Card Business is evolving Marketing Operations, aiming to empower business teams to reach their objectives through the innovative use of journey orchestration and marketing automation, supported by well-defined delivery processes. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with Strategy Leads to craft engaging journeys, curate targeted audiences, and execute high-impact campaigns, ensuring seamless deployments. Your expertise will be vital in transforming our digital marketing efforts, utilizing your knowledge in email marketing best practices. We are seeking a candidate with comprehensive experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions, to harness cutting-edge marketing technology and data capabilities. You'll have the chance to leverage audience insights to create robust marketing plans, develop testing strategies, and partner with teams for campaign execution. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Marketing Strategy leads to design and optimize SFMC journeys and filter audiences effectively. Implement cross-channel SFMC journeys tailored to Marketer needs. Apply your expertise in personalization and marketing automation to enhance dynamic email content and segmentation strategies. Work with MarTech leads to explore new capabilities, enhance platform integrations, and execute omni-channel campaigns. Promote a culture of transformation throughout the team, making it integral to every marketing initiative. Build a strong network across various partners (business, creative, martech, data, operations) to deliver efficient campaigns. Desired Characteristics: Deep expertise in email marketing best practices, with experience managing multi-audience campaigns globally, and extensive experience with SFMC tools such as Journey Builder and Automation Studio. Proficient in creating dynamic marketing campaigns using AMPscript and SQL, building automations for marketing tasks. Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SFMC, effectively linking our martech capabilities to marketing strategies. Ability to synthesize analytic and qualitative data to create actionable marketing strategies. Competently troubleshoot and resolve technical and process-related challenges. Experience documenting and improving technical processes for marketing teams. Flexibility to operate as both a practitioner and a thought leader in transformational strategies. Skilled in campaign performance analysis, providing actionable insights for optimization. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Excellent communicator and relationship-builder, influencing and connecting with internal stakeholders effectively. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Military experience. At least 2 years of experience planning and executing marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms. At least 2 years of experience utilizing SQL queries to build target audiences. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in journey orchestration within Financial Services or regulated industries. 3+ years' experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hightouch, or similar CDPs and enterprise MAPs. 3+ years of collaboration with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, effectively navigating ambiguity. Certifications in BPM, Lean, or PMP. 2+ years using Workfront or similar project management tools. Experience in Risk Management for at least 2 years. Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud such as Administrator, Developer, or Email Specialist. Ability to write and edit Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS). This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship. Salary ranges for this role based on location are as follows: Chicago, IL: $109,900 - $125,400; McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900; New York, NY: $131,800 - $150,500; Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400; San Francisco, CA: $131,800 - $150,500. Actual salaries offered will be discussed during the hiring process. This role is also eligible for performance-based compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
