to lead our pre‑owned vehicle department and drive profitability through effective inventory management and sales strategies. Employment Type
Full‑Time Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the used car department, including appraisals, pricing, and inventory control. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and gross profit. Manage trade‑in evaluations and ensure accurate market‑based pricing. Monitor market trends and adjust inventory mix accordingly. Train and motivate the sales team to achieve department goals. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state/federal regulations. Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or similar role in automotive retail. Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, market trends, and inventory management. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet performance targets. Proficiency with dealership management systems and CRM tools.
