
Fransen Group is seeking a talented
Landscape Sales & Designer
to lead the design and sales process for residential and commercial landscape, hardscape, pool, and outdoor living projects. This role manages every stage of the client journey—from initial contact and site evaluation to proposal development, cost estimating, and final design presentation.
You will build strong client relationships, represent the company within the community, and contribute to the growth of the department. This position reports directly to the President of Sales and oversees the work of project managers.
Role Description
Conduct prospect screenings, discovery calls, client meetings, and onsite evaluations.
Design residential and commercial landscape, hardscape, pool, and outdoor living projects.
Develop project estimates, proposals, and presentation materials.
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signing.
Maintain strong client and prospect relationships.
Network within the community to generate new business.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field; or equivalent experience in horticulture and landscape design.
Experience in landscape, hardscape, pool, or outdoor living design, sales, or installation.
Proficiency in cost estimating and proposal writing.
Strong knowledge of regional plant materials and proper planting techniques.
Understanding of horticultural practices, low voltage lighting, water features, and irrigation systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and design/CAD software.
Willingness to learn proprietary software and additional tools.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Creative problem solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
