Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Director of Housekeeping at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, located in the beautifully restored Illinois Building, right off Monument Circle. in downtown Indianapolis, IN. The Director of Housekeeping will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing daily housekeeping operations, supervising and training staff, maintaining laundry services, collaborating with other departments to enhance the guest experience, and managing budgets to optimize resources efficiently. Qualifications
Expertise in Supervisory Skills, including leading teams and providing effective training and guidance to ensure high performance. Commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction to create a welcoming and memorable experience for all guests. Knowledge and experience in laundry operations to maintain high-quality standards and efficient workflow. Proficiency in Budgeting and cost management to achieve operational efficiency and financial goals. Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Experience with safety regulations, staff scheduling, and leadership Prior experience in hospitality management or housekeeping leadership roles is preferred. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
