About the Role The role:

At SoFi Home Loans, we’re reimagining how people achieve homeownership through thoughtful partnerships, disciplined execution, and member‑first decision‑making. We’re looking for an energetic, founder‑mentality professional to support supplier engagement and operational decision‑making across our Home Loans business. This role sits within HL Operations and is critical for managing supplier relationships, achieving financial discipline, and driving cross‑functional execution.

What You’ll Do

Champion a $70M supplier ecosystem, architecting end‑to‑end strategy alignment and optimizing performance, ROI, and operational excellence.

Engage and coordinate with internal partners (Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Credit Risk, Compliance, Marketing) and external partners (other SoFi Business Units, strategic partners) to drive revenue growth and improve member experience.

Maintain and enhance expense management and forecasting, providing clear visibility into supplier spend, trends, and optimization opportunities.

Lead supplier evaluation and onboarding by gathering requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and ensuring a seamless transition to implementation.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operating rhythms, increasing efficiency, scalability, and accountability.

Cross‑functional teams view you as a trusted operational partner.

Operational decisions are clearly tied to business strategy and member impact.

Processes scale cleanly as the Home Loans business grows.

What You’ll Need

Experience in lending, corporate banking, or financial services, with exposure to operations, supplier management, or financial management.

Experience in management consulting, financial consulting, or a highly analytical role.

Proven ability to influence without authority and collaborate across functions in a fast‑paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced certifications (MBA, MPA, PMP, Lean, Six‑Sigma) preferred.

Demonstrated experience in process optimization and/or operational improvement.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities, ambiguous problems, and influencing senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills, with ability to connect financial data, operational decisions, and strategic outcomes; financial modeling experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Experience building financial projection models.

Deep project management experience.

Process improvement and optimization background.

Experience with RFPs, RFIs, and supplier negotiations.

Strong understanding of finance and lending.

Compensation & Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay will be determined based on individual factors such as experience, skills, and location.
