
Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging, clear copy for high converting advertising platforms, emails, landing pages, websites, blog posts, digital and print ads. Your duties will include creating interesting written content and collaborating with team members at all levels to ensure projects are consistent with direct marketing best practices, brand guidelines, compliance, and overall project goals. This individual is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth.
Salary $75,000 to $90,000 Annually

Success Looks Like In 3 Months
Fully ramped on Cardone Ventures’ email and text marketing workflows, including brand voice, compliance standards, segmentation, and cadence
Produces high-performing email and SMS copy across messaging blasts and automated workflows with minimal revisions
Actively supports live workflows and A/B tests (subject lines, preview text, CTAs, SMS hooks), showing early lifts in open rates, CTR, and engagement
In 6 Months
Owns end-to-end email and SMS copy execution across key initiatives, from set-up through optimization
Consistently improves workflow performance, including open rates, click-through rates, booked meetings, show-up rates, and downstream conversion
Proactively identifies optimization opportunities within automations, segmentation and messaging sequences
Operates as a trusted, independent copy partner driving measurable revenue impact through email and text with minimal oversight
In 12 Months
Owns the strategic direction and execution of email and SMS copy across major workflows
Consistently drives measurable impact through email and text, including sustained improvements in open rates, click-through rates, booked meetings, show-up rates, conversion rates and downstream ROAS
Builds and maintains repeatable messaging frameworks, nurture sequences, and testing playbooks that scale across initiatives and campaigns
Anticipates initiative needs and contributes to planning, positioning and messaging
Objectives
Deeply understand our target audience and marketplace to ensure copy effective
Understand the pain points and main reasons why a business owner would work with Cardone Ventures
Create high converting promotional copy across our funnel through emails, ads, and landing pages
Continually refine and optimize copy through understanding performance, engagement with the paid ads team and data analysis. This includes increasing email open rates, improving ad performance, and enhancing landing page conversions, ultimately driving higher engagement and ROAS on all marketing efforts
Proofread marketing assets including videos, photo captions, graphic design projects, presentations, SOPs and some excel spreadsheets
Conduct split test advertising and other marketing campaigns for optimization, primarily through email marketing
Write blogs, and other long form copy on websites (i.e. bios)
Develop topics for live shows and write scripts for hosts
Create white papers for client testimonials
Track analytics, such as conversion and open rates, of marketing efforts as it pertains to copy-driven resources
Collaborate with the design team to create digital and print media advertising
Think strategically to organize and design campaigns that deliver desired results for various target markets across different platforms
Competencies
Knowledge of tracking digital marketing efforts in order to measure results
Expert on writing engaging social media posts and captions
Effective copywriting skills for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, funnel campaigns, social media posts, articles, products and all assets and marketing campaigns we generate
Knowledge of HubSpot - how to write, schedule, send, and track emails
Understand how to format social ads VS sales landing pages VS direct response emails
Expert grammar and spelling skills - don't be afraid to use the English language to your advantage – "Play by the rules but be ferocious"
Deep understanding of buying psychology and what makes people "click here, buy now, call today"
Exceptional target market research skills - this job is 80% research/prep, 20% writing
Education And Experience
BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
3 to 5 years' experience creating compelling copy for digital marketing campaigns that convert
