About The Position The
Remarketing Redemption Specialist
will be responsible for managing the redempiton process for repossessed vehicles.
This is an In-House position, located in Santa Ana, CA or Ontario, CA.
Essential Responsible:
Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Review accounts for repossession utilizing our primary platform and repossession platform.
Review all accounts for accuracy based on our account and vehicle information to ensure proper recovery of collateral.
Contact customers to discuss the redemption process and payment breakdown to redeem or reinstate their vehicles.
Negotiate terms for redeeming their repossessed vehicles.
Collect customer payments through payment portals.
Facilitate redemption release request to auction houses or repossession agents.
Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
•Other duties as assigned, including Remarketing Admin responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
1 + year Remarketing and Repo experience in the auto finance industry (non-prime or sub-prime).
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret and apply federal, state and local collections regulations.
Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful and sensivtive manner.
Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Familiar with Auto IMS, IAA CSA Today, Copart, and RDN.
Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Highschool or GED equivalent.
Salary:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour + Bonus
