
A large automotive client of Insight Global is looking a Sales & Purchasing Assistant Manager to serve as the primary liaison between them and its customers, ensuring accurate pricing, timely quotations, and exceptional customer support. This role is responsible for managing sales activities, coordinating with internal departments and sister companies, and maintaining up‑to‑date pricing and technical information. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer‑focused, and skilled in negotiation, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Duties & Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact between JSC and its customers, providing responsive and professional communication. Prepare accurate sales quotations, including new model quotes, pricing for modified or existing parts, and updates to company pricing information. Respond promptly to all customer requests for quotations and pricing. Maintain and update JSC’s current pricing list (CCF). Negotiate with customers and sister companies to secure the most competitive pricing. Track service-part orders and calculate service-part pricing. Download, review, and control initial technical drawings. Communicate with the parent company to request RFQs for new assets. Calculate and confirm sales pricing for new and existing parts. Develop and deliver customer presentations regarding company products and capabilities. Attend sales and pricing meetings with customers and suppliers. Coordinate sales activities with sister companies to ensure alignment and consistency. Provide input and guidance to the purchasing team on contracted services and lease agreements. Oversee departmental functions and support day‑to‑day operations. Provide training, direction, and ongoing support to departmental personnel. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university. 4 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, pricing, negotiation, and customer relations—preferably within automotive or manufacturing industries. Demonstrated experience preparing quotations, managing pricing, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
