An MEP Consulting Engineering firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Plumbing Designer to their team!
Job Description
Responsible for designing plumbing and mechanical/HVAC systems for retail, restaurant, and commercial projects
Main responsibility will be to lead plumbing design, but will assist with HVAC drawings on an as needed basis
Attend kick off meetings with clients
Responsible for code research
Will perform field surveys of existing building conditions
Produce load calculations
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors in a related field
AutoCAD proficiency
Ability to produce plumbing and HVAC drawings independently
Knowledge of building codes
5+ years of experience
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
Pay And Benefits Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $57.69/hr.
