About the Role Dr. Squatch is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager who will lead campaign execution while using data-driven insights to maximize impact across mass, club, drug, and grocery channels. This role will prioritize hands‑on campaign execution (40%), supported by deep‑dive analysis (40%) and cross‑functional collaboration (20%).
This role will report directly to the Director of Shopper Marketing and work collaboratively across all internal teams and extensively with external partners.
This is a full‑time hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, California.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 to $130,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
What You’ll Do Campaign Execution & Retail Implementation (40%)
Lead end-to-end execution of retail marketing campaigns from planning through post-analysis across all major retail channels
Manage detailed campaign timelines, ensuring all components launch on schedule and within budget
Oversee creation and distribution of retail marketing assets, including displays, signage, and digital content
Coordinate with sales team to ensure flawless in-store execution and compliance with planogram requirements
Manage promotional calendars and pricing strategies across mass, club, drug, and grocery retailers
Conduct store audits to ensure campaign standards are maintained and identify execution gaps
Campaign Data Analysis & Insight Generation (40%)
Analyze campaign performance data to uncover new insights about customer behavior, promotional effectiveness, and market trends
Conduct deep-dive analysis of retail campaign results to identify what's working and where opportunities exist for optimization
Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for future campaign planning and strategy
Develop and maintain performance dashboards that track key metrics and provide real-time insights into campaign effectiveness
Use data to tell compelling stories about campaign performance and customer engagement across retail channels
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Partnerships (20%)
Serve as primary liaison between marketing, sales, supply chain, and creative teams
Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to align on campaign priorities, timelines, and resource allocation
Partner with supply chain to ensure product availability aligns with campaign launch dates
Collaborate with creative team to develop compelling retail-specific marketing materials
Work with finance to track campaign budgets and measure ROI across initiatives
About You Required Experience
5+ years of retail marketing experience with mass, club, drug, and grocery channels
Proven expertise in end-to-end campaign execution and retail implementation
Strong analytical background with experience in retail data analysis and insight generation
Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-channel retail campaigns
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis tools and retail POS systems
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Strong retail acumen with understanding of channel-specific requirements
Detail-oriented with focus on both strategic thinking and flawless execution
