About the Role: The Sales Administrator provides critical administrative and operational support to the Sales team by managing customer inquiries, maintaining CRM data, supporting quoting accuracy, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, sales, and internal teams. This role focuses on data integrity, responsiveness, and process execution rather than analytics, helping ensure the Sales team has accurate information and efficient workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a first point of contact for customer calls and online inquiries, gathering information and routing leads to the appropriate sales personnel.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity, and contact data within the CRM system.
Perform regular CRM data entry, cleanup, and maintenance to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Support the sales team by ensuring quotes, customer records, and opportunity details are properly entered and updated.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain special pricing, lead times, and special-order item details.
Maintain and update materials pricing tables and supporting sales documentation.
Ensure quote and order-related data is accurate, complete, and aligned with internal standards.
Assist with tracking sales activities, open opportunities, and follow-ups to support sales execution.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership to ensure customer and sales data supports daily workflows.
Contribute to the development and improvement of sales administrative processes and procedures.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attend sales and departmental meetings as requested.
Provide general administrative support to the Sales team as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in sales administration, sales support, or customer service role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Hands-on experience with CRM systems, including data entry and record maintenance.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting a sales team in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor.
Experience maintaining pricing tables, quotes, or sales documentation.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing on the manufacturing floor and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.
Work Environment: May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
