Account Manager

to join our Houston team and serve as the primary point of contact for some of the largest players in the industry, including

Halliburton, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and Weatherford . This role is ideal for a sales professional with

5+ years of sales or business development experience , a strong technical background in

completions, coiled tubing, or wireline , and a passion for building and maintaining high-value client relationships.

Basic Functions: The NXL Account Manager plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong, enduring relationships between NXL and its clients. The primary function is to interface as the main point of sales and business development contact, addressing client needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally. Responsibilities include:

Acting as a liaison between clients and internal NXL teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

Understanding client business goals and aligning NXL’s products and services accordingly.

Seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling when appropriate.

Identifying new business customers and qualifying leads to expand the client base.

Maximizing customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and contributing to overall company success.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong client relationships with super majors on a daily/weekly basis.

Perform account maintenance for current and existing customers while aggressively marketing NXL’s products and services.

Act as a technical resource for solutions to operating/technical matters; represent NXL in external discussions and technical forums.

Travel within the assigned basin and to supporting regions or corporate centers as required.

Develop and maintain client accounts; identify key target accounts and opportunities for growth.

Communicate effectively between clients and internal teams to ensure project alignment.

Monitor competitors and market trends, gathering intelligence on pricing, products, schedules, and techniques.

Maintain accurate records, submit reports, and follow organizational policies and procedures.

Working Environment:

Time will be distributed between the office, client facilities, and external meetings/events.

Weekly travel to other regions will be required.

Standing and walking

Long periods of sitting

Consistent travel, including flying and driving

Education, Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Required:

5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.

Experience interfacing with super majors ( Halliburton, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Weatherford ).

Knowledge of completions, coiled tubing, or wireline operations.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to interpret diverse instructions.

Leadership and confidence in self and others; ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Preferred:

Knowledge of rental sales and energy industry terminology.

Existing relationships with wireline and coiled tubing service companies in the assigned basin.

Deep understanding of the North American pressure control market and basin-specific market dynamics.
