
Outside Sales Account Manager

The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for strategically driving sales and meeting goals to help achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. You will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned territories and establish and maintain relationships with staff across departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve Sales Goals
Generate outbound calls and emails to increase sales visits and update sales goals in your pipeline report during time in the office.
Make telephone and field calls to existing valued customers and perspective customers.
Prospect and forecast on monthly basis.
Upsell and cross sell our existing customers with new products and services.
Actively maintain and update your CRM to include customer visits, contact information, pipeline management and forecasting.
Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Initiates the selling activities within the territory, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
Associate’s degree in business, marketing and sales or related field of study (preferred)
Must have at least 3 years prior relatable experience having sold in the Safety, Industrial and/or MRO markets.
Plus to have sales experience in the gas and oil industries and/or manufacturing sector.
Proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of customer organization
Able to work in fast‑paced entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organization, time management and presentation skills
Highly energetic and self‑starter
Decision‑making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi‑task the activities with shifting priorities
Should be honest, assertive and systematic
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Pay Starting at: $70,000/yr. + commission Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
