Electrical Distribution & Industrial Projects The Opportunity We’re partnering with a

growth-oriented electrical and industrial supplier

serving industrial contractors, OEMs, system integrators, and project-driven customers across energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing markets.

This hybrid Inside Sales / Key Account role sits at the center of business; owning customer relationships, managing complex quotes, protecting margin, and driving growth within an established book of accounts. If you enjoy balancing

speed, accuracy, and customer ownership , this role offers real responsibility and visibility.

Location is in the Greater Houston area, but we're open to anywhere in TX or LA.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own and manage a portfolio of

active customer accounts

across electrical distribution and industrial/project environments

Handle inbound and outbound sales activity: qualify needs, prepare quotes, follow up, and close business

Source and quote

electrical and industrial products , coordinating pricing, availability, lead times, and alternates with vendors

Drive account growth through cross-sell, line expansion, and proactive outreach

Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth order execution and customer communication

Protect margin through disciplined pricing and quoting practices

Maintain accurate CRM activity, quotes, and pipeline visibility

Share market intelligence on pricing trends, competitors, and supply conditions

Occasionally support customer meetings or industry events as needed

What We’re Looking For

Residency in the Greater Houston region. State of TX or LA considered.

3–7 years

of inside sales or account management experience within:

Electrical distribution

and/or

Industrial, OEM, EPC, or project-driven environments

Working knowledge of products such as electrical cable, fittings, enclosures, connectivity, or related industrial components

Proven ability to manage multiple quotes and priorities in a fast-paced setting

Strong phone and email communication skills with a professional, consultative approach

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable

Nice to Have

Experience supporting contractors, OEMs, system integrators, or project teams

Comfort working in technical or compliance-driven environments

Experience collaborating with outside sales to support strategic accounts
