Overview At Gallagher, we’re united by a commitment to growth and excellence. As a Senior Financial Benefits Consultant, you’ll work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to deliver expert financial analysis and benefit plan support. You’ll help clients make informed decisions by analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with numbers, and making a real impact.
How you'll make an impact
Produce financial reports, trend analyses, and cost projections for employer benefit programs
Work closely with producers and client managers to develop financial strategies aligned with client goals
Provide financial analysis support for marketing events including disruption reporting, premium equivalent development, and competitive financial evaluation
Summarize utilization data and provide insights to clients
Participate in client and prospect meetings as the employee benefits financial expert
Explain actuarial calculations, funding structures, and financial outcomes in clear, client‑friendly language
About You
A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Ability to interpret complex actuarial and underwriting concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate analytics for clients
A state license for Health/Life is preferred but not required
Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
