We’re seeking a Commercial Estimator to lead business development efforts across multiple territories while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional results.

Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing

Manage and grow a

1,000-account commercial territory

across property management, facilities, HOAs, retail, office, and hospitality

Prospect decision-makers, conduct site walks, lead discovery meetings, and prepare proposals

Estimate and sell commercial painting, lighting, and concrete coating projects

Complete job pre-start documents (COI, W-9) and ensure project compliance

Keep CRM records updated for contacts, opportunities, and forecasts

Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and maintenance contracts

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless handoffs and satisfied clients

Required Qualifications

Direct Industry Experience:

Either 1+ years of experience working with

property management companies/apartment complexes

OR proven experience with

GC take-offs

(reading blueprints, measuring, and producing estimates for subcontractors)

Professional Background:

3-5+ years in commercial sales or estimating specifically in painting, coatings, lighting, or GC trades

Proven Performance:

Demonstrated ability to book

$600K–$1M+ annually

with a win rate of 25% or higher

Kansas City Network:

An established local network with property managers, facility managers, or HOA boards

Technical Proficiency:

Strong discovery, proposal, and scope-writing abilities with CRM fluency (DripJobs or similar) and Google Workspace

Mobility & Professionalism:

Valid driver’s license with a clean record and exceptional presentation skills

Earnings: $65K base salary; $130K OTE per year

Tools:

Company phone provided, CRM access, marketing support, training

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with flexibility for client meetings and job site visits
