We are seeking an accomplished
Key Account Manager (KAM)
to join our team and spearhead business development and client relationships. As part of a prestigious company in the luxury furniture sector, this role presents an exceptional opportunity to work with innovative products and renowned clients in an exciting, fast-growing market.
Mission The KAM will drive
new business acquisition
and foster
client retention , playing a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the region. Reporting directly to the
USA General Manager , this individual will focus on building meaningful partnerships and delivering high-quality solutions that align with the company’s luxury positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development : Identify and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on architects, designers, and premium clientele.
Client Relationship Management : Strengthen and sustain relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Sales Strategy Execution : Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to market dynamics and company objectives.
Market Analysis : Research and analyze industry trends, providing insights to capitalize on market opportunities.
Negotiation : Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long‑term partnerships.
Cross‑Departmental Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, etc.) to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
Reporting & Performance : Create and deliver sales performance reports to the USA General Manager.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
Experience : Minimum of
5 years in sales or key account management , preferably within luxury furniture, design, or adjacent sectors.
Skills
Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work with top‑tier architectural firms and innovative businesses.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Knowledge
Deep understanding of the
East Coast US market .
Awareness of furniture and design industry trends.
Mobility Willingness to travel frequently within the USA and internationally as needed.
Located in Chicago.
