ABOUT OUR AGENCY I opened my first agency in 2011 and expanded with a second location in 2021. Today, our team includes 11 members working together across both offices. My journey with State Farm started as an intern, then a full-time team member while earning my MBA, and shortly after, I became an agent. That experience shaped how I lead today - with a strong focus on growth, teamwork, and long-term success.

I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and grew up in the Duncanville area. I’ve been married for 15 years, and my wife and I have four kids who keep life busy and fun outside the office. Family is a big part of who I am, and that same family‑style approach carries into our office culture. Our team works closely together, celebrates wins, and makes time for outings and events that build strong relationships. We’re looking for someone who is hungry, positive, outgoing, and growth‑oriented – someone who brings energy to the team and is excited to perform at a high level.

ROLE DESCRIPTION As Account Manager – State Farm Agent Team Member for Rick Smith – State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.

Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.

Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.

Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.

Leadership and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
