Job Overview The Senior B2B Events Marketing Manager will manage a set of National events targeting growth in our Enterprise, Strategic and SMB segments, from vertical and industry tradeshows to curated owned hospitality programs and executive networking. The Manager will lead all aspects of the event marketing process including strategy and positioning, speaker and content management, creative and demand gen development, audience acquisition and lead capture, sales/executive collaboration and communication, performance tracking, and budget. This role will have a critical lens on developing and executing events that drive measurable business outcomes, in addition to T‑Mobile for Business brand, business priorities, and communication objectives. The role will work cross‑functionally with multiple internal departments, external partners, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy & Positioning: Define business goals, event objectives, audience targeting, guest experience, key messaging, and budget
Speaker Session Management: Curate compelling session topics that align with business goals, securing speakers, coordinating presentation development, and onsite POC.
Branding and Creative: Own creative execution through agencies to produce event-ready assets, in partnership with Brand and Legal for compliance.
Audience Acquisition: Develop assets (target lists/criteria/invite copy/landing page) to drive attendance, communicate internally and drive demand gen.
Lead Capture: Develop lead capture and conversion plan, including Salesforce integration, post‑event follow‑ups, CTA.
Demo & Partner Management: Select the right solutions/partners to showcase, develop compelling narratives, ensure alignment with target audience and event themes, onsite POC.
Sales/Executive Collaboration: Communications with all stakeholders – internal marketing, sales, execs, partners – to ensure collaboration, alignment and progress to goals. Onsite POC.
Performance Tracking: Debrief, recaps and reconciling of all data inputs for effective monitoring of event performance (account/buying group reach, funnel lift, etc)
Research, identify and recommend new opportunities for event marketing partnerships.
Supervise and coordinate event budget
Train and lead event marketing staff for each event
Maintain active project plans and event documentation for all events
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
4–7 years experience in creating and leading high‑profile events to drive business and brand growth.
B2B event experience required.
4–7 years Experience in developing and executing major events. (Preferred)
Strong background leading cross‑functional teams and agency partners.
Telecom & Tech experience. (Preferred)
Event coordination. (Required)
