senior-level Capital Markets & Securities Associate
to join its Business Group in Los Angeles. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced attorney to work on sophisticated capital markets and corporate governance matters while serving as trusted outside counsel to public company clients. About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
8 years of experience
advising public and private companies on complex capital markets and securities transactions. This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to lead high‑profile deals while collaborating with cross‑office teams on a national platform. Key Responsibilities
Advise public and private companies on IPOs, equity and debt offerings, and acquisition financings Counsel clients on Exchange Act reporting obligations and corporate governance matters Structure and negotiate public stock and debt offerings, tender offers, rights offerings, and M&A transactions Lead and manage deals from planning through execution, including delegation and supervision of junior team members Identify and proactively address legal and business issues throughout transactions Work cross‑functionally with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver top‑tier client service Build and strengthen long‑term client relationships as trusted outside counsel Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school Minimum of 8 years of relevant capital markets and securities experience Extensive experience with public company representation and complex transactions Proven ability to run deals and manage associates effectively Strong drafting, analytical, issue‑spotting, and problem‑solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Admission to practice law in the state where the candidate will reside Practice Overview
The Capital Markets & Securities practice advises public and private companies on a wide range of transactional, regulatory, and governance matters. Attorneys in this group benefit from sophisticated work, deep client relationships, and collaboration across a strong national platform. Expected salary range:
