Job Description The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company’s vaccines, education and resources to help the provider or system increase immunization rates and protect patients from vaccine‑preventable diseases. The VCR is the primary point of contact for various customers within their assigned geography, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers across clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals.

Primary Activities

Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs and our Company’s vaccine attributes in accordance with product labeling, CDC, and professional society recommendations.

Provide Company Vaccine Management with updates on customer needs to improve patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.

Provide customers with key insights by staying abreast of professional and health‑care environment knowledge through self‑study of company‑provided scientific, product and marketplace information, attendance at product workshops and conferences, and consistent review of our Company’s promotional materials.

Utilize analytical skills and tools to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contract to educate them on the best ways to maximize contract performance across the Company portfolio.

Assist customers with education to improve their organization’s immunization rates through adherence to quality‑based programs using appropriate tools such as Vaccine IQ.

Regularly monitor business performance against objectives using company‑provided tools.

Develop a territory‑level business plan that focuses on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with Our Company’s policies, standards, and ethics.

Maintain product knowledge and certification on the entire Company vaccine portfolio along with knowledge of the CDC immunization schedule for both pediatric and adult vaccines.

Specific Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact for select customer accounts, meet with key customers to understand their current practice structure, business model, key influencers, and patients’ needs, identify business opportunities, and share information with relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with the Company’s customer team to outline customer strategy for interactions aimed at improving immunization rates.

Territory Information

Territory covers Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Culpepper, Waynesboro, and Lexington, VA.

Ideal location to reside is within this territory.

Travel percentage varies based on candidate’s location within the geography.

Position Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 0‑3 years sales experience, OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience (professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field).

Required Skills: Demonstrated aptitude to excel in current or previous roles; ability to work independently and within a team; strong organizational and time‑management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s license.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to convey technical concepts accurately; prior experience in a technical/​scientific or healthcare environment; sales, account management, consultative, or customer service experience; experience developing and executing customer engagement plans; understanding of marketing/sales support functions; ability to analyze metrics to assess progress.

US Hybrid Work Model: Effective September 5, 2023, office‑based employees will work a hybrid model of three on‑site days (Monday‑Thursday) and one remote day (Friday). This does not apply to field‑based positions.

Salary Range: $79,200 – $124,700. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
