
Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Compliance Specialist in Stafford, Texas. You will work under the Senior Manager of Global Trade Compliance, ensuring all import and export activities across North American locations comply with U.S. and international laws, regulations, and Emerson Corporate policies.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support Emerson Global Trade Compliance efforts to maintain and enhance Pressure Management processes and procedures regarding regulated trade activities (imports, exports, trade programs).
Perform basic legislative and regulatory impact analysis.
Ensure compliance with all applicable import and export regulatory requirements.
Correspond with external organizations such as customs brokers, freight forwarders/agents, and carriers.
Perform regular import/export operational compliance audits per Emerson and Trade Compliance Management System guidelines to ensure due diligence and reasonable care with regulatory requirements, and implement corrective actions as vital.
Support Pressure Management product import and export purposes in accordance with the U.S. Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other applicable agencies.

For This Role, You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Proven track record in Trade Compliance.
Experience with HTS and ECCN classification.
Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in International Trade, Business, or Logistics.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP and/or Oracle.
Experience with TradeSphere Exporter (TSE).
Knowledge of U.S. HTS, EAR, and CBP regulation.
