What You’ll Do As a Business Development Representative at Reliant, you will be on the
front lines of growth . Your primary focus is to
identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities
by moving quickly, engaging decisively, and converting interest into revenue.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a
fast moving, high autonomy environment , enjoys the pressure of results, and wants to make a
visible, outsized impact
at a growing company.
You will be trusted to own your territory, push opportunities forward aggressively, and help expand Reliant’s footprint in the life sciences market.
Key Responsibilities Drive New Business Growth
Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through targeted outbound efforts
Qualify prospects quickly and determine where Reliant can win
Push opportunities forward with urgency and clear next steps
Win and Expand Opportunities
Overcome objections and move decisionmakers toward action
Expand existing relationships by identifying additional areas of need
Move Fast and Take Ownership
Operate with a strong sense of urgency and accountability for results
Adapt quickly as market conditions and priorities shift
Build Market Presence
Establish Reliant as a trusted, high value partner through confident, outcome oriented conversations
Represent the business with credibility, energy, and conviction
What We’re Looking For
Proven interest or experience in
sales, business development, or growth focused roles
Strong drive to
win, close, and exceed targets
Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast paced, evolving environment
Persuasive communicator who can move conversations toward decisions
Bias for action over analysis or group consensus
Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn, and modern outbound techniques
Desire to make a
big impact at a smaller, growing company
