Agile Business Analyst Analytica is seeking a technically skilled

Agile Business Analyst

to support USCIS in streamlining and improving business operations and information technology investments. This includes executive consulting, program/project management support, Agile adoption, governance support, and technology integration across VER and FOD. The contractor will facilitate cross-functional collaboration among USCIS offices and external agencies, implement Agile methodologies, and support data-driven decision‑making.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is responsible for overseeing lawful immigration to the United States under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). USCIS ensures the integrity of the U.S. immigration system by granting immigration and citizenship benefits, providing accurate immigration case information, and promoting citizenship awareness.

The Immigration Records and Identity Services Directorate (IRIS), Verification Division (VER) provides timely and accurate immigration status information to public benefit agencies and employment authorization verification to employers. The Field Operations Directorate (FOD) play crucial roles in ensuring process efficiency, operational excellence, and the secure management of immigration‑related data. USCIS seeks partnership to provide executive management consulting, program and project implementation support, and business management support services to enhance operational performance and efficiency across these directorates.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business analyst or SME, with at least 5 years supporting federal programs in areas such as process optimization, requirements analysis, and system integration.

Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent preferred.

Skills/Competencies: Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow optimization. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, testing, and system deployment. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.
