A leading
design-led interior and architecture studio
is seeking a
talented Intermediate Interior Designer
to join its growing
New York team . The practice works on an exciting portfolio of
high-end residential ,
hospitality , and
mixed-use projects
across the U.S. and internationally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented designer with 5–8 years’ experience who’s eager to take ownership of projects from
concept through to installation , and be part of a collaborative, design-driven studio environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop and deliver design packages across all project stages — from
concept design to construction documentation
Produce
creative conceptual designs
(2D, 3D, and hand drawings) for a variety of project types including:
Boutique hotels, bars, and restaurants
Luxury residential properties ($2M–$10M)
Refurbishment, fit-out, and new-build schemes
Prepare detailed
DD and CD drawing sets , schedules, and specifications
Demonstrate strong
space planning ,
detailing , and
FF&E design
capabilities
Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure design integrity
Support project budgets and maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout each stage
About You
5–8 years’ experience
within interior design or architecture practices
Excellent
design portfolio
demonstrating conceptual thinking and strong documentation
Confident in
CAD drawing
(preferably Vectorworks),
Adobe Creative Suite ,
SketchUp , and
Bluebeam
Strong
FF&E and finishes knowledge , with experience producing specifications and custom furniture drawings
Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
A proactive mindset, creative approach, and passion for beautiful, functional design
What’s on Offer
Competitive salary of
$90,000–$105,000 , depending on experience
