Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annual base salary

Wave’s Media Agency (WMA) collaborates with leading sports leagues and rights holders to create engaging, data‑driven digital programming. Our partners include major organizations such as the WNBA and CONCACAF, and we deliver always‑on content experiences that engage the internet’s largest and most passionate fan communities.
Role Summary Wave is seeking an expert social media producer and strategist to join the Not Gonna Lie social team. This individual will develop the social media identity and content strategy for the Not Gonna Lie brand, produce social content, and own distribution and marketing. The role is highly collaborative, engaging talent, social, commercial, and original content teams internally, and external sponsors and partners.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating exceptional social media content, managing large online communities, and executing social strategies for engagement, virality, and growth. The producer should possess a keen sense of the current social landscape and trends, implementing that knowledge to create socially native, optimized content that yields viral engagement. The candidate will bring instinctive copywriting skills that mirror the tone and voice of our shows while speaking the language of audiences on social.
Responsibilities
Develop brand identity on social and execute a programming strategy that leverages video, images, memes, and social trends to place the show at the top of users' feeds.
Creatively produce short video content stemming from long‑form YouTube shows for distribution on social.
Distribute content across all platforms, including copywriting, schedule ownership, and post‑tracking.
Manage community engagement for a growing audience.
Collaborate in the production of a full premium show with a team of producers, video editors, and graphic designers to create best‑in‑class social content.
Work with Sales/Brand teams to execute live activations and fulfill sponsor content obligations across show inventory.
Provide personal presence at on‑the‑ground original show executions.
Write copy that builds brand through tone and voice to engage a growing community.
Utilize internal analytics to track performance, understand audience behaviors, and refine content strategies.
Qualifications
Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Premiere.
3+ years creating and managing social brands.
Experience producing content for original talent‑driven shows.
Experience working in‑studio on original talent‑driven shows.
Experience creating and executing content strategies designed to market and promote.
Expertise with multiple social media/digital platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube.
Experience managing, growing, and engaging social communities.
