Community Table is a James Beard–nominated restaurant rooted in hospitality, craft, and connection. We are seeking an Executive Chef Partner —a nationally recognized culinary leader (James Beard Award winner/nominee and/or Michelin-starred background) who is excited to co-create a long-term project with aligned partners.

This role is ideal for a chef looking to build something personal and enduring : a flagship restaurant paired with an intimate, 36-seat private dining room

designed for members-only experiences, curated dinners, chef collaborations, pop-ups, and private events.

This is not a traditional executive chef role. It is a creative and business partnership .

Community table (core restaurant)

Pop-ups, residencies, and guest chef collaborations

Help shape a destination for chefs, creatives, and diners seeking meaningful, intimate food experiences

Key Responsibilities Culinary Leadership & Vision

Define and evolve the culinary identity of Community table in collaboration with ownership

Create seasonally driven, thoughtful menus that reflect both excellence and approachability

Develop distinctive tasting menus and experiences for the private dining room

Maintain the highest standards of execution, consistency, and hospitality

Private Dining & Membership Program

Design exclusive member-only dinners, chef’s tables, and curated culinary events

Host collaborative pop-ups and guest chef residencies

Engage directly with members and guests in an intimate, storytelling-driven setting

Partnership & Business Development

Act as a strategic partner in brand growth and long-term vision

Collaborate on pricing, sourcing, staffing models, and operational systems

Represent Community Table at industry events, press opportunities, and awards programming

Team & Culture

Lead, mentor, and inspire the culinary team

Foster a culture rooted in respect, creativity, sustainability, and hospitality

Build systems that support excellence without burnout

Ideal Candidate

James Beard Award winner or nominee and/or Michelin-starred experience

Proven ability to lead acclaimed kitchens with both creative and operational excellence

Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in ownership and long-term growth

Passion for intimate dining, storytelling, and guest connection

Collaborative, humble, and community-oriented leadership style

Excited by the idea of building something meaningful with partners—not just running a kitchen
