Overview
Salary:
$70,000 – $80,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
A growing luxury apparel label based in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced Fashion Designer with
advanced pattern-making expertise
to support the development of high-end men’s and women’s collections.
This role is ideal for a designer who understands that exceptional garments begin with precise patterns, disciplined construction, and an uncompromising eye for detail. You will play a critical role in transforming design concepts into production-ready pieces that reflect a premium standard.
Position Overview We are looking for a designer who is both creative and highly technical — someone who can engineer garments from the ground up. Pattern making is not a secondary skill in this role; it is a core requirement.
The ideal candidate thrives in an environment focused on quality, structure, and elevated design.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate, production-ready patterns for men’s and women’s garments
Translate design concepts into well-constructed, wearable pieces
Create technical packages, spec sheets, and detailed construction guidelines
Lead sample development and fittings, ensuring precision in fit and silhouette
Partner with production teams to maintain design integrity
Evaluate fabrics and trims appropriate for a luxury product
Refine patterns to achieve superior drape, proportion, and finish
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of professional fashion design experience
Demonstrated mastery of pattern making
(applications without this experience will not be considered)
Deep understanding of garment construction and fit
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines without compromising quality
Highly Preferred
Experience in premium or luxury apparel
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CLO, Gerber, Optitex, or similar software
Knowledge of textiles and material behavior
Salary:
$70K – $80K depending on experience
Health Insurance
Paid Time Off
Paid Holidays
Who Should Apply This opportunity is best suited for professionals who believe craftsmanship still matters — designers who understand that luxury is built through precision, patience, and technical excellence.
If you take pride in creating garments that are as beautiful inside as they are outside, this role was built for you.
