We are seeking a person with 8 or more years of experience who is interested in working on a diverse range of projects with an integrated team of architects and interior designers.
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture from an accredited program.
Intermediate or advanced BIM (Revit) skills
Strong graphic skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong attention to detail and existing conditions
Strong Interior Design skills, with demonstrated experience on all phases of projects
Skilled in developing, illustrating, and communicating design concepts to in-house teams and clients
Ability to lead a design presentation
Good technical design and detailing skills
Knowledge of the CBC and accessibility codes
Experience with researching, selecting, and specifying commercial furniture and coordinating with furniture dealers
Experience with researching, selecting, specifying, and detailing interior finish materials and systems
Ability to work independently as lead Interior Designer on project teams led by Architecture staff (typically large complex renovations or ground-up buildings)
Ability to manage a team on projects led by Interiors staff (typically TI or renovation projects)
Ability to work under the guidance of senior leadership
Ability to train and delegate to junior staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
It would be a plus if you also have:
Professional licensure (NCIDQ Certification, CID, or Architecture license)
Construction administration experience
Experience with design for Public-sector clients (Library, K-12, Higher Education, and/or Workplace) on design-bid-build projects

Salary range $95,000 - $120,000 for Intermediate-level candidates (typically 8-15 years of experience, and $120,000 to $135,000 for Senior-level candidates (15-20 years of experience). Experience is not always tied to years in the field and can vary based on candidate’s specific background and skills.
