front-line leadership position

global narrative

, shaping how the world understands Brain-Computer Interfaces, and positioning us as the

of the field.

Key Responsibilities Subsense is building a

category-defining Brain-Computer Interface

— and we’re looking for a

Marketing Lead who will make sure the world knows it

.

In this role, you will

own how our company is seen, talked about, and remembered

. Your responsibilities will include:

Defining and executing a

bold, end-to-end marketing strategy

that positions Subsense as a

global leader in Brain-Computer Interfaces

Translating deep, complex neurotechnology into a

clear, powerful narrative

that resonates with media, partners, investors, and the broader tech and medical ecosystem

Owning our

brand voice, positioning, and storytelling

across all channels — digital, media, social, events, and thought leadership

Working closely with founders, scientists, product, and business teams to align

breakthrough technology with breakthrough visibility

Shaping how the BCI market talks about itself by setting the

category narrative

, not following it

Monitoring industry trends, competitors, and emerging players to keep Subsense

ahead of the curve — always

Building relationships with external partners, agencies, and media to amplify our presence and impact

Owning the marketing budget, measuring impact, and focusing on

signal over noise

Building and leading a

world-class marketing team

as the company scales

What You’ll Bring We’re not looking for someone who “does marketing.”

We’re looking for someone who

builds leadership, momentum, and reputation

.

You bring:

Proven experience in

marketing leadership

, ideally in deep tech, robotics, or other complex, science-driven industries

A strong ability to

market technologies that don’t yet have a playbook

Experience building and scaling

brands for breakthrough or frontier technologies

The ability to turn highly technical concepts into

compelling, confident, world-class stories

Exceptional communication and presentation skills — you can speak to scientists, executives, investors, and media with equal credibility

Experience working in

early-stage or high-growth environments

, where speed, ambiguity, and ownership are the norm

Strategic thinking combined with a

hands-on, builder mindset

Comfort with

high-risk, high-reward challenges

and a desire to play at the frontier
