Overview This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning digital agency to help orchestrate and architect the backbone of a major automotive digital transformation. We’re looking for a technical-minded content strategist who can analyze current states, rethink taxonomies, build scalable tagging frameworks, and shape platform structures that power personalization, automation, and growth. We need a self-starter that understands the complexity of automotive ecosystems and gets excited about turning that complexity into clear, scalable systems.
Responsibilities Tasks & Deliverables:
The Senior Content Strategist will assist the client team by performing content audits and defining content requirements for a website redesign and migration to a new platform.
Assisting planning content and POVs for website redesign content, including but not limited to:
Performing current state and competitive assessments
Performing research for audience needs, trends and behaviors, and digital innovations
Mapping Consumer Experience Journey content paths
Assisting in developing content strategy, topics, types, and requirements
Performing content audits, inventories, and modeling
Determining what content to keep, revise, retire or consolidate
Developing taxonomy and tagging recommendations, matrices and guidelines
Developing documentation for content migration
Generating or maintaining content matrices of site content and related assets
Creating content strategy playbooks and governance guidelines
Maintaining editorial standards and accuracy/quality of content
Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in digital content strategy, preferably in agency/consulting environment
Digital platform build/reva/pexperience working on complex B2B and/or B2C website redesign and migration, ideally combining multiple sites for multiple audiences into a single platform
Mix of technical and marketing content strategy skills with a strong understanding of UX/UI, taxonomy, tagging, and site structure as well as strategic marketing skills planning content for audience-centric digital experiences across the consumer journey
Experience collaborating with Strategy, SEO, UX, and creative teams to develop best-in-class content strategy
Experience using AI tools and web crawling tools such as Screaming Frog, and high level of comfort learning new tools
Excellent MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and working knowledge of CMS and DAM platforms (preferably AEM)
Proven track record of strategic, editing and proofreading skills
Client-facing written and oral presentation experience
Highly organized and detail oriented
Able to handle multiple projects, short timelines, and pivoting easily when direction changes
Self-starter who is highly collaborative while comfortable working independently
Automotive vertical experience preferred

Compensation Range: $81,225 - $111,100 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
