
Account Manager – Manufacturing Customers
Salary Range:
$78,000–$90,000 base

Account Manager
focused on
managing and growing an established book of business . This role is ideal for sales professionals who enjoy nurturing customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and serving as a trusted technical partner—without responsibility for people management or new business hunting.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage a defined
book of existing manufacturing accounts
within your assigned territory
Grow customer revenue by identifying expansion opportunities within current accounts
Build long‑term relationships by understanding customer applications, needs, and purchasing patterns
Prepare accurate product quotations, pricing, and technical recommendations
Provide technical guidance and product support in collaboration with internal teams
Coordinate with customer service to ensure timely order processing and strong follow‑through
Conduct product reviews, presentations, and occasional demonstrations for existing customers
Track account activity, performance, and growth opportunities to support territory planning
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
6+ years of account management and/or inside sales experience
2+ years supporting customers in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Comfort working with technical products and manufacturing customers
Strong communication, organization, and customer relationship skills
