Role Overview Keysight is seeking a highly motivated, results‑driven
Supplier Relationship Manager
to support
Ongoing Production ,
New Product Introduction (NPI)
and Procurement activities for our
precision manufacturing centers
within Keysight.
This role focuses on managing and developing
strategic external suppliers
that provide
unique, custom mechanical, and electrical components
critical to Keysight’s internal manufacturing operations. These components support Keysight products across multiple markets including
5G, semiconductor test, aerospace and defense, and automotive .
The position plays a hands‑on role in ensuring suppliers are capable, responsive, and aligned to Keysight’s technical, quality, cost, and delivery requirements, particularly during
NPI ramps and ongoing production support .
Responsibilities
Serve as the
primary supply chain interface
between Keysight precision manufacturing, engineering, and external suppliers supporting production and NPI programs.
Manage
supplier relationships end‑to‑end , including:
Commercial negotiations (pricing, lead times, capacity commitments) through Supply Agreements and Confidential Disclosure Agreements
Ongoing performance management (delivery, quality, responsiveness, cost)
Supplier capability and capacity assessments
Support
NPI execution
by coordinating supplier readiness for new designs, prototype builds, and production ramps, ensuring alignment to engineering and manufacturing timelines.
Partner closely with
Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Global Procurement
to resolve supply issues and drive alignment across functions.
Lead or support
supplier selection and sourcing activities , including RFQs, cost analysis, and technical reviews in collaboration with engineering.
Own and manageb>MRO Sourcing as well as tactical procurement related to these materials and services.
Proactively identify and mitigate
supply risks
related to capacity constraints, quality concerns, or schedule impacts.
Drive
continuous improvement
initiatives with suppliers focused on:
Lead‑time reduction
Cost improvement
Quality and yield enhancement
Process standardization for NPI execution
Participate in or lead
process improvement efforts
within the procurement and NPI workflow, including documentation, standard work, and cross‑site alignment.
Support
multi‑site and global operations , coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders across different time zones as needed.
Working Environment
This is an
on‑site role
based at
Keysight’s Colorado Springs facility , with daily in‑person collaboration required with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain partners.
The role requires a strong on‑site presence to effectively support rapid issue resolution, production builds, and supplier coordination.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance , or a related field.
3+ years of experience
in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or NPI environment.
Working knowledge of
MRP/ERP systems
(e.g., Oracle or SAP) supporting production and NPI workflows.
Experience interacting directly with suppliers, including:
Quotation and lead‑time management
Cost, quality, and delivery discussions
Participation in supplier negotiations
Understanding of
commercial contracting concepts , including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical and commercial information and communicate clearly to varied audiences.
Demonstrated ability to
work independently , exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple programs simultaneously.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and other Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
Experience supporting
complex low-volume/high-mix supply chains .
Exposure to
NPI‑heavy environments
with frequent design changes and schedule pressure.
Experience using or integrating
Artificial Intelligence tools
into daily workflows, including effective prompt usage and familiarity with Generative or Agentic AI concepts.
Interest or experience in
dashboard development, data visualization, or workflow automation .
Familiarity with
Power BI, Power Apps, and Copilot .

Colorado Pay Range MIN $76,430.00-MID $101,900.00- MAX $127,380.00
