What the Role Is About As the
Portfolio Development Consultant , you will consult and analyze complex projects and initiatives for your assigned areas. You will also act as a resource for internal and external stakeholders as they define programs based on a business strategy through research and analysis. The results of this impact analysis will be the basis for the future initiative in the respective portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
Partner with internal stakeholders and business leaders to design more complex business solutions that enhance quality and reduce cost.
Identify and/or validate that the proposed solution meets business needs.
Provide complex recommendations and guidance on alternative approaches to meet business needs.
Collaborate effectively with management and appropriate stakeholders on issues or impacts to the business.
Identify departmental impacts and initiative resourcing needs.
Deliver consistent project artifacts, templates, techniques, and adherence in support of initiatives.
Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by supporting change management and departmental/enterprise initiatives.
Serve as a resource to team members and stakeholders on complex assignments and projects.
Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
Consult and analyze on more complex assignments and projects.
What we’re looking for Must-haves
3–5+ years of experience in Project Management that directly aligns with the responsibilities of the role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s).
Strong project management skills, including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g., management, peers, and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi‑task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
Nice-to-haves
Experience working in Agile environments.
Working knowledge of Retirement Plan Services.

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range ; pay may vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non‑discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long‑term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
