Job Summary Functional Distro Co. is looking for a talented Business Development Representative to be part of our Sales Team. The Business Development Representative will be solely responsible for sales and distribution of products within our portfolio of brands.
Meet key performance indicators (KPI’s) focused on sales and distribution.
Responsible for increasing distribution and volume in key on/off premise accounts.
Meet with account purchasing managers, deliver products, and assist with inventory counts.
Participate in team sales events and meetings
Improve velocity in accounts by building displays, driving distribution, displaying POS items, educating retail employees, sampling, and securing features.
Merchandise product sections, maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelving and rotate product.

Qualifications
Proven track record on meeting or exceeding assigned KPI’s and objectives
Minimum of 1 year of sales, trade/customer marketing or related industry experience, preferably in the beverage industry
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Availability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
Great attention to detail, organization and self/time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to make oral presentation
Drivers license and ability to drive on behalf of the company
