Role Overview Incumbent is an Account Executive – Health Benefits working under direct supervision of the Director of Business Development – Insurance Benefits. This position requires effective communication skills and a solid understanding of the insurance industry. Must be capable of pursuing and closing sales in Health and Life Insurance needs. Must have experience in building a book of business from the ground up, such as prospecting leads, and servicing an active client base for upsell opportunities.
Responsibilities
Strong knowledge and expertise in product knowledge is essential, covering details such as Affordable Care Act (ACA), compliant plans for individual and group health, Medicare Advantage (Part C), and Medical Supplemental (Medigap).
Develop renewal and new business strategy with appropriate staff.
Proven sales abilities, such as using a consultative approach to match products to client needs.
Build and maintain positive relationships within Stockman Bank and Stockman Wealth Management.
Attend all sales meetings, sales strategy sessions and company functions as required.
Participation in community events and organizations that generate new business for the agency and Stockman Bank.
Maintain all applicable licenses and continuing education.

Minimum Qualifications
Montana State health and life insurance license
Strong insurance background
Proven Business development experience / track record
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Willingness to work in community projects.
Experienced in using Windows based applications.
Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances at times.
Ability to travel - approximately 25% travel required.
