The
Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth across Metro Market Media’s portfolio by systematically increasing the number of active advertisers and intentionally growing the value of each client relationship.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based leadership role. The RSM regularly works alongside Account Executives in the market—joining client meetings, prospecting together, and supporting renewals and expansions. Success requires visible leadership in the field, not desk‑only management.

Net-positive active advertiser growth month over month
Rising average account spend across properties
Healthy new‑business and expansion pipelines
Sales teams who understand and manage their account math
More predictable, diversified, and durable revenue
Field Leadership & Player‑Coach Expectations
Spend consistent time in the field with Account Executives on joint calls and prospecting days
Model strong sales behaviors in live client situations
Support high‑value and strategic accounts directly
Provide real‑time coaching before and after calls
Personally participate in closing and expanding key accounts
Core Revenue Responsibilities
Grow the number of active advertisers through disciplined prospecting
Increase average account spend via multi‑product solutions and longer‑term agreements
Manage dual pipelines: new accounts and expansion revenue
Coach teams around account math, not just activity
Reduce revenue concentration risk by broadening the advertiser base
Operational Responsibilities
Lead and coach Account Executives across multiple properties
Execute regional sales plans aligned with company goals
Analyze CRM and sales data to guide coaching and strategy
Build strong advertiser relationships through in‑market presence
Collaborate with internal teams to align revenue execution
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, revenue strategy, or media advertising
Proven track record of growing revenue and managing high‑performing sales teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams
Ability to travel between properties and meet clients in the field; mileage reimbursement provided
Additional Requirements
Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment
Occasional evening and weekend availability required for client meetings and community events
