5-7 years of selling software development tools or platforms to application teams in IT and engineering functions in Midmarket businesses; based in Dallas metro (or major metros)

We are looking for an Account Executive to be the builder of our US Midmarket business. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Product Engineering, Product Support, and Marketing to win new logo customers for WaveMaker.
What You’ll Do:
Own complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure to acquire net new logo customers, working closely with Sales Engineer(s) and other technical teams as needed.
Achieve set order booking quotas for quarterly and annual periods.
Generate leads on your own as well as by collaborating with SDR and demand generation teams.
Own all commercial, legal and financial aspects of net new logo deals, including management reviews, legal reviews and securing approvals as needed at various stages of the sales process.
Partner with Customer Success to onboard and engage new logo customers while continuing to build and maintain strong relationships with each customer.
Co‑own customer satisfaction, adoption and success along with Customer Success and being the voice‑of‑the‑customer in internal forums with Product, Support, Professional Services and Engineering.
Collaborate with management and sales team to enhance sales strategy to increase net new sales including effective deal qualification, shortening sales cycle, increasing deal size with professional services, and increasing deal‑to‑win ratio.
Who You Are:
Undergraduate or graduate degree with 5-7 years’ experience and success in selling software development tools or platforms to application teams and enterprise architecture in IT and engineering functions of US midmarket businesses.
Familiarity with Cloud‑native development tools and methodologies, modern web and mobile application development technologies, Java, Angular JS, React and React Native, and REST APIs.
Demonstrated ability to assess and qualify opportunities, navigate prospect landscape, efficiently discover needs, position WaveMaker attractively, and find the right fit for prospect and WaveMaker.
Experience selling consultatively, conceiving and delivering compelling proposals and customized presentations to prospects.
Demonstrated ability to effectively build meaningful and trust‑based relationships with stakeholders.
Must have used strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in complex sales scenarios, objection‑handling skills, energetic and self‑driven.
Willing to travel as needed; must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
