Successful candidates will join the Systems and Network Security Group led by Prof. Vincent Lenders . They will contribute to cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence for cybersecurity and perform the following tasks: Research: Lead scientific research projects that aim at improving the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure with artificial intelligence techniques Technology transfer: Work with industrial and governmental partners to transfer the group’s research results into functional prototypes and technology demonstrators for security operation centers (SOC) and cyber defence teams Education: Contribute in the teaching activities of the University’s Cybersecurity Master program and supervise the scientific research of PhD/Master students Dissemination: Present your research results at scientific conferences, journals and technology events Your profile
Experience in security research and/or artificial intelligence Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish will be appreciated but is not a requirement to apply Due to the specific requirements and constraints of the project, we are only able to consider applicants from EU EEA/EFTA countries, NATO Allied nations, and NATO Indo-Pacific Partners.
