The Inside Sales Representative at Tree Guardians is responsible for proactively engaging with current and prospective customers at one or multiple partner companies to sell tree removal and pruning services. This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales arborists, and operations ensuring a smooth transition from initial inquiry through job coordination and scheduling. The ideal candidate is consultative, organized, and comfortable discussing tree care solutions while driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound and inbound sales outreach to prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and digital platforms

Utilize prior proposals from the Sales team to assess customer needs related to tree removal, pruning, and general tree care services

Present and sell appropriate services in alignment with Tree Guardians’ safety, quality, and arboricultural standards

Follow up on estimates, proposals, and open opportunities to close sales in a timely manner

Job Coordination & Scheduling

Coordinate approved work with internal operations teams to ensure accurate scope, scheduling, and customer expectations

Communicate job details clearly to production teams, including access, site conditions, and customer requests

Serve as a potential point of contact for customers and/or the sales team throughout the sales-to-production handoff

Assist with rescheduling or adjustments due to weather, emergency work, or operational constraints

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

Maintain consistent, professional communication with customers before and after the sale

Address customer questions, concerns, or changes in scope in coordination with management

Support long‑term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

Administrative & CRM Management

Accurately document all customer interactions, proposals, and job details in the CRM system

Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and follow‑up tasks

Support billing coordination and ensure completed work aligns with sold scope

Qualifications Required

2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account coordination experience

Strong phone presence and comfort with outbound sales outreach

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred

Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or home services industries

Familiarity with tree removal and pruning concepts

Sales training or demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Work Environment & Expectations

Primarily office‑based with consistent phone and computer use

May require occasional flexibility to support urgent or emergency work coordination
