The role of the Global Account Manager (GAM) is to understand customer needs and proactively develop strategies across regions that will drive profitable growth, increase penetration and Demand Creation performance resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The GAM also is the single point of contact (SPOC) for Tier One customers that facilitate global strategies, processes, programs and will ensure customer commitments are met.
What you’ll be working on
Map out customer organization & identify primary contacts.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges to formulate strategies with-in regions and branches to position Future for growth.
Develop relationships with the customer’s Senior Management through regular visits to their corporate and field sites.
Present Future’s value proposition by providing customers with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives i.e. Business Partner Program, Loaded Cost Customer, IPO, Inventory Exchange, and On-Site (Program Manager) service capabilities at all customer sites.
Work with regional management to set, implement, drive action that will grow profitable sales by sites.
Establish quarterly business review format and schedule top level management meetings.
Drive key supplier initiatives to improve focus suppliers performance.
Qualifications and Experience
5 years or more of relevant experience, preferably in a senior sales role within the Electronics Industry.
