Opportunity The Market Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive and detailed marketing analysis and persuasively making recommendations based on results. This involves developing and compiling layers of in-depth information and statistics, maintaining on‑going files necessary for management to develop forecasts, recommendations on marketing strategies and programs, new products, and strategic plans.

Onsite, 4 days per week – Kohler, WI

Possess in-depth competitor and market share understanding

Display initiative to remove obstacles

Demonstrate high‑level presentation/communication skills

Work across functional areas to see the “big picture”

Set strong examples through work product, attitude, technical skills, and project management tools/philosophies used

Function as a leader in all facets of analyst position

Understand trade channels (Plumber/Installer, Remodeler, Custom Builder) and own communication to the customer

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate contractor rebate claims process; interface w/ 3rd party data analysis firms to organize, format, and transmit customer rebate claim data

Plumber/Remodeler historical rebate & performance analysis; collaborate with 3rd party data analysis firms to format & organize customer data to create historical benchmarks

Product ordering & tracking for Professional Channel Tradeshows (CEDIA/PCBC/PHCC, and others on case‑by‑case basis)

Collaborate w/ Category Strategy on creation of sell sheets & marketing collateral (samples/side‑by‑side selling aids) for Trade‑related product launches

Work with Trade Channel Managers to coordinate on all Trade‑related deliverables and channel tactics with Category Strategy

Coordinate with Trade Channel Managers on conversions/project wins that will impact demand/production planning & forecasting

Coordinate product placement for Plumbers/Installers, Custom Builder, and Remodeler selection centers via FOC budgets

Collaborate w/ Trade Channel Managers on creation of customer specifications (via Spec Deck, etc.) to support Sales & Marketing

Maintain & update SharePoint, including customer pricing files (first purchaser pricing, brand‑specific market pricing grids, etc.)

Ownership of historical sales performance, trends, and Marketing analysis related to Direct‑to‑Trade program (Kohler Professional), to inform future marketing, pricing, or membership enhancement opportunities

Assist in the content creation & presentation development to support Trade communications—both internal and customer‑facing

Skills/Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

2 to 5 years of marketing experience with proven track record of increasing responsibility and results is required

Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker. Must possess substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts

Fluency in Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce, and PowerPoint is a must, as are excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with leadership confidently and succinctly

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
