
Award winning, full service Marketing and Advertising company located in Downtown Tampa is seeking a Social Media Strategist to join our innovative team. We are a group of kick ass entrepreneurial marketers who collectively gather to develop strategies that drive action. Our unique team is currently composed of over 100 individuals and growing. PPK is looking for a candidate who knows how to turn culture, data, and good ideas into social work that actually performs. This role helps shape the overarching social media strategy for our clients while staying close to the work. It plans content, spots trends, and partners with creative, production and account teams to bring ideas to life.
We’re looking for someone who lives on social media. You understand platforms, audiences, and internet culture. You know the difference between a trend worth chasing and one worth skipping. You’re strategic, curious, collaborative, and motivated by collaborating with a team to make work people actually want to engage with for our brands.
Responsibilities:
Help lead short- and long-term social media strategies and content tied to real business goals. Plan and develop social content across platforms—from big campaign ideas to always-on content. Concept and write across multiple brand tone of voices on social media. Stay tapped into internet culture and identify trends, moments, and conversations worth jumping into. Grow and engage social communities through smart, relevant content and conversations. Partner closely with creative, production and account teams to execute cohesive social programs. Monitor performance, pull insights, build decks and optimize content and channel strategies. Build clear, compelling strategy decks and briefs while confidently walking internal teams and clients through the “why”. Think ahead—anticipate client questions, platform shifts, and new opportunities. What We’re Looking For:
3–4+ years of agency experience working in social media strategy Strong writing and presentation skills Deep understanding of social media, internet culture and trends Comfortable writing copy and using social listening and analytics tools Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects without losing momentum A collaborator and someone with grit Able to move fast, stay flexible, and keep a good attitude when things get messy You’ll Thrive Here If:
