Senior Marketing Specialist

to lead and execute comprehensive marketing programs. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail‑oriented, and creative marketing professional who can balance enterprise brand stewardship with the unique needs of multiple practice divisions. As

Senior Marketing Specialist , you will lead all marketing, branding, and patient engagement initiatives for the practice, including creating compelling content across multiple social media platforms and managing the practice website. The ideal candidate understands healthcare audiences, has strong digital marketing expertise, and is passionate about connecting communities with high‑quality cancer care. This position owns the day‑to‑day and strategic execution of marketing initiatives across six divisions, working closely with oncology liaisons, practice managers, providers, and practice leadership to support growth, visibility, and community presence.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of strategic, multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and other local channels

Maintain a strong pulse on the oncology landscape through ongoing competitive analysis, market intelligence, and internal collaboration to clearly articulate and differentiate the practice’s value proposition as the region’s leading independent oncology provider

Apply creativity and strategic storytelling to develop compelling, patient‑focused content that supports education, engagement, and brand affinity across social media, web, and community‑ and physician‑facing materials

Serve as steward of the overall practice brand while supporting division‑specific marketing needs

Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy of provider bios, clinic hours, and service information

Manage the internal staff newsletter, developing engaging content that supports internal communication, reinforces culture, highlights achievements, and aligns employees with organizational goals and brand messaging

Manage the marketing budget, including allocation, tracking, and ROI assessment

Plan and execute community partnerships, events, and sponsorships

Develop, edit, proof, and manage all marketing materials with strong attention to detail

Manage and grow the practice’s social media presence and local brand visibility

Develop and maintain monthly content calendars

Analyze campaign performance and present results to practice leadership

Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed

Support the management of online reviews (Google, Healthgrades, Yelp, etc.)

Frequent travel to practice locations within the local region to build rapport with clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications or related field

5+ years of marketing experience; oncology, healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred

Proven experience planning and executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns with strong digital marketing expertise

Experience with social media marketing and content creation

Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics

Highly organized multitasker able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and proofreading ability

Comfort presenting marketing results to senior leadership

Reliable, adaptable, and accountable

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles; WordPress experience is a plus

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams

Ability to work occasional nights and weekends for marketing events and business meetings as needed.
