Landscape Designer

to support our design team through concept development, technical documentation, and collaborative execution from early design through construction.

This role is ideal for a designer who is both

creative and detail-oriented , comfortable moving between conceptual design, technical drawings, and coordination with internal teams.

What You'll Do

Develop design concepts, schematic plans, and detailed landscape drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects

Create

site development plans

during early stages of the design development process

Prepare planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading concepts, and material palettes aligned with design intent and project budgets

Assist with construction documentation, redlines, and revisions throughout design development and build phases

Coordinate with internal design-build and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible, buildable, and clearly documented

Support estimating and take-offs as needed in collaboration with project managers

Administration of CRM (LMN) and prepare project estimates, change orders and contracts

Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and documentation within Asana and shared drives

Participate in client presentations and design meetings as needed

Conduct site visits to support design accuracy and implementation

Stay current with landscape materials, planting strategies, and sustainable design practices

What We're Looking For

3–7 years of experience

in landscape design or landscape architecture

Must be a Texas resident (Austin, TX preferred)

Proficiency in design and drafting tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; Lumion or similar a plus)

Strong understanding of site planning, grading concepts, drainage, materials, and planting design

Ability to translate conceptual ideas into clear, build-ready drawings

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects

Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, design-build environment

G-Suite, Dropbox, Docusign Capability or Trainability

Tech-proficient and

AI-savvy , with curiosity and openness to evolving design tools

Nice to Have

Experience working in a design-build firm

Familiarity with Asana, LMN, or similar project management systems

Knowledge of Central Texas plant palettes and climate conditions
