Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Personal Lines Producer to join our established, successful agency. This role involves generating new business, building client relationships, and advising on personal insurance. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, understand home and auto insurance, and have a history of meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and manage a sales pipeline.
Prospect through provided leads, networking, referrals, and marketing.
Consult with clients to understand their needs, and provide tailored risk management solutions.
Present customized insurance solutions like homeowners, auto, and umbrella policies.
Prepare proposals and quotations explaining policy terms.
Act as advisor to clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction, review renewals for cross-sell opportunities, and maintain accurate records in agency management software.
Stay current with industry trends and collaborate with underwriters and team members.
Skills and Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License, or willing to become licensed.
Proven experience in sales.
Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Knowledge of personal insurance products preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with agency management and CRM software preferred.
Self-motivation and attention to detail.
