Position Overview The Public Relations and Communications Supervisor oversees all aspects of Tri Cities Chaplaincy’s communications and public relations strategies. They develop and implement communications, public relations, branding, and outreach strategies for the agency that promote Chaplaincy’s services while also educating, informing, engaging, and deepening relationships with priority audiences and the community at large.
The person in this position will work directly with members of each discipline (hospice, grief support, fundraising, volunteer services, Cork’s Place Kids Grief Center, and chaplain services) to develop and manage all agency brands; develop communication plans and campaigns that support the mission of Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. This person will assist with community outreach efforts by ensuring that teams have all materials needed (brochures, flyers, etc.) for outreach.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations or relevant field with two years’ relevant experience in marketing and brand strategy.
Two years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
Experience developing promotional campaigns for a variety of media.
Familiarity and skill with marketing tools, including PR, website maintenance, social media, email marketing tools, and design software (Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational and planning skills with an emphasis on adherence to deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
Preferred Qualifications
Five years of progressively responsible experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Five years’ supervisory experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.

Compensation Hiring Range:
$80,289.15/annually - $107,445.00/annually

Mileage Reimbursement: $0.72 per mile, for eligible positions.
Vacation: Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked.
